Think Money selects Application Security to safeguard sensitive information

BBR Staff Writer Published 02 November 2010

Think Money has selected Application Security's DbProtect offering for comprehensive database security, risk and compliance.

Application Security claims that its offering will enable Think Money to automate the assessment of database user entitlements and to meet the stringent PCI compliance requirements (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

DbProtect’s agentless architecture empowers organizations with complex, heterogeneous environments to scale enterprise wide with the fastest time to value and lowest total cost of ownership, added Application Security.

Think Money information security officer Lee Ward said, DbProtect provides the scalability and flexibility necessary to identify vulnerabilities and assess user privileges in Think Money's dispersed heterogeneous database environment.

“DbProtect’s intuitive interface, out of the box compliance reports, and impressive enterprise capabilities will help us to achieve our compliance and data protection goals while reducing the associated costs,” Ward said.
